Re: Water Long Section PPF - Service Clearance
Note also that you need to press Set Node Details or Regrade Pipes in the WNE, for the link attributes to be calculated. I have confirmed that it is (almost) working with Super Alignment pipelines in the Service clash file , in v15. I didn't test v14, but I don't think there is a difference. In my t...

The attributes are on the water string links. It should work. Will check again tomorrow.

As a 12d support person, if I had seen this request before Matt and Sam [was probably giving training at the time] I would have advised along the same lines.

Re: Drainage for Box Culverts
Hi Scott, Apologies for the long delay in responding ... This looks to be a case that requires the drainage.4d file to be upgraded to XML format. The old file format does not support box culvert width, but the XML format does. Another option would be to remove the pre-defined link heights for box cu...

Re: Hydro File Error
Upgrade to the latest v14. It supports ARI or AEP for use with Rational. Not sure exactly which version first included this enhancement. Feels like more than two years ago.

Re: Water Long Section PPF - Service Clearance
Hey guys, In the "Chainages/Uprights" section of the ppf editor, I'm have a bit of trouble getting the clearances to plot on the service clashes. All the relevant models are in the "Corridors" list and the "Cuts" list. I even when back into the network editor and made ...

Re: Quick Solution
It may not need a fix. It is merely a warning. Do you have Qx in the pipe immediately downstream?

Re: Pipe flow discrepancy
The Rational Method accounts for the pipe travel time, which adds to the Tc of the catchment.
So, flow rates from a catchment, will attenuate as they move further and further downstream, through the pipe system.
This is to synthesize the storage effect of the pipes.

Re: 12d v14 OpenGL view
If you are not seeing any errors in the Output Window on startup, then 12d is not disabling the views.
Clutching at straws ... is your OpenGL view on your secondary monitor? If so, can you try to create a new OpenGL view on your primary monitor?

Re: 12d v14 OpenGL view
It could be the graphics card you have, that does not offer sufficient support for OpenGL.
On startup, are you getting any errors listed in the Output Window, regarding OpenGL? If so, 12d Model might be disabling OpenGL views on your machine.

Re: Type of Node to use for Existing Manhole
It probably isn't the node type (the standard one named "EXISTING" would probably be fine). Which option is generating the message "this network doesn't have an outlet"?

Re: Dynamic Drainage Bypass Shape - Road Weir vs Conduit
I am fairly confident that "road weir" is not appropriate for this case. I might be inclined to investigate the "side weir" option, but I confess I don't know how appropriate it might be. If the flow rate through the little kerb outlet is small, as one would expect, I just wouldn...
