open up a perspective view (not open gl)
turn on the tin model, go to settings and select shade, or contours, or grid.

if you have the visualisation module (open an open gl view) to see it as two sided, use 12d textures on roads, batters, etc.

I thought visualisation was for textures, billboards and that. I don't believe I have the visualisation function but I can still see both sides of the tin in openGL, and pipes too.

I don't have visualization either although can see both sides of the TIN in Open GL view; should I not be able to? As soon as I add a drainage network model to the view though I can only see the underside of the tin so I presume the functionality lock is working as intended?
