HGL Linestyle

Post by Duncan Brown »

How do I change the linestyle of the HGL created by the drainage network editor?

You can only do it in the Drainage LS Plot (see Graph area branch of PPF editor), not in a section view.

In a section view, you can only change the colour of the HGL (see view's menu Settings=>Drainage).

Thanks for that.

So there's no way to change the actual output from the DNE until you go to plot it?

The HGL levels can be set in a number of ways, including via the DNE's storm analysis modules. But the HGL is merely a component of the Drainage string, and has no current property settable for linestyle. (Indeed, changing the linestyle of a Drainage string has no effect either.)

It is not until you plot a Drainage string (in LS or plan), that the HGL can optionally be generated as a separate string. One could say that the plots are (part of) the output from the DNE.

Owen.
