what kind of string do you need to use?

i had a go because it sounds quite useful, but i used a super string and it came up with a bunch of errors about the string type then shutdown 12d

Ok to find the areas use
Tins -> Tin Analysis -> Depth range polygons
then
User -> Miscellaneous -> A to C -> Calculate areas of coloured polygons

Cut/Fill Areas

How can i work out areas for Cut to Fill?

Also is it possible to work out a volume for a polygon within the design area other than doing a volume by grid?
