Once you run an info leader in a project, a file called Info_Leader_Create_Panel is created in the .project folder. You can edit this in a text editor and change the default decimal places for results and other settings. If you want to use this on all your projects you can copy this file into your U...

Hi, I see you are posting this in the Practice Version forum. In V9 you can run the Strings > Label Vertices option twice to get the x coord and y coord labelled. In Version 10 you can use the Drafting > Text and Tables >Information Leader to very quickly place a leader arrow and label the x,y or x,...

Hey Gavin,

If it is a SA string (or a Super string in Edit mode) there will be a toolbar on the screen denoting which SA is being edited. Save and finish this toolbar and it will unlock the string.

Shaun,

The manhole base is by default controlled by the outlet pipe invert level unless you are trying to place a sump in the manhole?

Hi Joel,

There is a check box on the export DWG Panel "Use Blocks for point styles". This should create blocks for points that have symbols in 12d.

You can also use a label map file for additional symbol creation if you want.

Hi Shaun, you can't manually set a datum for a drainage longplot. 12d calculates an appropriate datum to fit the priinting area for you page size and associated margins. This is set in the ppf file under Plot Sheet Layout. You can manipulate the plotted area in the ppf to get a similar result. Dylan

Hi Kadar, Do you want to create a 12d Title File that matches you AutoCad one or do you just want to import your Autocad one into a 12d project? 12d has a slightly different way of plotting frames. We create a Title Block File (tbf) that you set up once and whenever you insert a plot frame 12d pulls...

Part 2.

To get an area of cut/fill use Tins > Tin Analyisis > Depth Range Polygons.
You will need to create asimple range file e.g -1000 to 0 = Red and 0 to 1000 = Blue.

This creates closed polyons which you can then report areas of either by string inquire or Report > Length/Area.
