Point to point rather than string to point maybe a better option in hindsight....

There's a Measure Value icon from the Measure Edits toolbar, click on this, then walk right from 'String to point' and there's a vertical angle angle option.

There's also a lock.4d file within the project folders that you can delete to free it up.

I gather you're creating contours via TIN - Contours - Coutour, Smooth & Label?

First tab in the dialogue box ('Contours') there's a 'smooth' box to flag.

All fixed when I got in this morning... dongle # was inputted, just needed to to log out, refresh and log back in! Thanks guys! Scott.
