Next thing I do is delete empty unlocked models The block (/symbol) size thing... maybe no one ever asked f...

Re: Lost Panels

Short answer: delete file mtf_panel_sizes.4d More dets: every time you use [Finish] to close any panel from the MTF EDITOR the screen size & position is writ to that file as a helper, logic being, if you wanted that panel size/position last time, you probably want it again next time. the logic i...

Re: Area of a trimesh face

You have v14 - right ? utilities > Change (colour) Once upon a time user had delve into filter and set type to 3d primitive (plus model or view etc) Not certain if that is still required Map file ? Area on side of a wall. Ummm I think that you would want to be 100% sure how the trimesh was formed an...

"PW"? Increasingly I am required to output to a layer containing the control name so RSED01 to "Reference String RSED01" or MC10 to "MasterControl MC10" and then the text and linework are separated again The other thing I had asked very poorly for at https://beta.12dmod...

note there are setting to do 2 pan modes.

I original method was to nominate a point then a view to centre that point. then along came Dynamic which is the same as other cad applications

that can be toggled on / off with a kb d and set permanently to default mode

Dean, sounds like an interesting project. An experienced road designer would knock this over and get a HD with about an hours work. may take you a bit longer; is the terrain model accurate enough that you can make out the plan road centreline? If so, then you have probably got all you need. if the c...

I was going to suggest that maybe the #points in the dwg far exceeded the point limit on your license.. (but should still import anyway) Note that you can set panel defaults - typically sites do this for and should for many common / often used panels & settings 1 complete the panel or any panel ...

Could be one of several things. Was there any message in the output window? My 1st guess is that the linework may be black or a colour very close to black and you simply cant see it on a black background try; Plan View Menu - View>Settings>Colour to use another colour Plan view menu - toggle vertici...
