I can't be of much help (as I don't have the vis module), but it would probably be worth sending a copy of your project to support (at) 12d dot com, if it's not too big (or a link from which they can download it). It probably also doesn't help with the post being in the Practise Version section of t...

Assuming () you're expecting an ArcInfo DEM format, the cell size is meant to be set inside the file itself. Something like this: ncols 4 nrows 6 xllcorner 0.0 yllcorner 0.0 cellsize 50.0 NODATA_value -9999 -9999 -9999 5 2 -9999 20 100 36 3 8 35 10 32 42 50 6 88 75 27 9 13 5 1 -9999 If you ope...

Yep, either would be sufficient. Both are getting close to the maximum possible over the SATAIII connector (assuming that's what you'd use). I'd personally go for the Crucial MX300 over the Sandisk X400. Beats the Sandisk in most benchmarks and likely to have more availability in Oz. My quick search...

Will largely depend on the interface (physical connection) you've got- SATA, mSATA, M.2, PCIe. You've then got the complication of different protocols (communication with the SSD) and what your computer can support. You will probably need to do some research. If you're wanting absolute best performa...

What sort of work are you planning to do with 12d? Survey has different requirements to road design, which has different requirements to drainage analysis, which has different requirements to flood modelling, which has different requirements to visualisation work, etc. General recommendations would ...

Welcome to the 12d forum and community. In 12d Model, there's an object called a SuperTin, which is effectively a merging of multiple tins. However, this merging is done based on the order of tins, which you can set/change, rather than the highest/lowest. This tends to make more sense in most practi...

When I was 12d Support for the UK, I had previously used the OSTN02 grid shift file with 12d's general transformation option ( Survey->Conversions->General transformation ). This panel can perform transformations using 7 parameters or a grid shift file (*.gsb) in the NTv2 format. For OSTN02, there w...

Can't remember if that's up-to-date. Also, you can use the prototypes.h generated from the cppp.exe (see post linked above) to do code completion.

You could setup a chain that has 2 steps. Both steps would use Utilities->A-G->Change using the filter mode of the source box to filter the interface strings by colour. E.g. 1st step filters for red cut strings, 2nd step filters for green fill strings (assuming defaults). You could rename the string...
