Re: Dynamic Drainage Bypass Shape - Road Weir vs Conduit
Hi Allan, I just looked up the drawing you mentioned, and it is for flow rates no greater than 20 L/s. I would be inclined to model the outlet drain link as a conduit, not a weir. And I would probably model the kerb outlet node as on-grade, not a sag, as water won't really have an opportunity to pon...

Re: Drainage - Pipe capacity and area calculated incorrectly
Is the grate level at either end of the pipe, below the pipe obvert? Doing this turns your pipes into open channels, with a lower capacity. (Not sure what you mean by "drowned". This is something that should only be happening if the tailwater level is set higher than a grate level. Happy t...

Sorry, I don't think that's a valid version number.

Re: 12d Latest Manual
The latest manual available is always installed with the latest version, and available under Help=>12d Model Reference manual . You can generally expect the manual to lag behind the software, somewhat, especially for actively developed options. However, I just checked the WNE, and the pic in the man...

There is an example of this in the installed PPF: $LIB\longsection_PW_A1_basic.lplotppf

Re: 3 Pipes flowing into manhole
Hi Victor, that would be a different issue (diverging/bifurcating pipe flows). A solution is described in this other topic:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=11673
(Note that you don't need to do this with the dynamic analysis, where the hydraulics are automatically balanced.)

Re: Question regarding HGL
You need to register and log in to the forum to gain full access. (I didn't notice your post was in the general section.) A pressurised HGL that is much steeper than the pipe, indicates that the pipe may be too small for the flow. If you are still achieving the necessary freeboard at the upstream no...

Re: Question regarding HGL
The HGL in the pit is higher that the HGL in the upstream pipe, when the Kw factor is greater than the Ku factor. Sometimes Kw=Ku, sometimes Kw>Ku. ... Re your question about a steep HGL, is it within the pipe, or above the obvert? Manning's formula only covers friction losses, but it gives best res...

Re: Offsetting BIM Stormwater Service Chambers
Yes. Go back to the source water model and edit it with the WNE. Setup a road design file to link a setout and centre string to each kerb inlet pit. Then use Adjust Pit Locations panel to laterally adjust all the kerb inlet pits, relative to the setout string, in one fell swoop. A demonstration of t...

For the segment/pipe attributes, try this mode (and don't specify a "Pipe/" prefix in the attribute name):
