Re: Volume to 2 tins + area in increments

Just to add an extra requirement to this, we often have to provide volumes in chainage ranges for mass haul calcs and then surface areas at different slope ranges i.e. Steeper then 1:2 is with Excavator, 1:2-1:4 Dozer, 1:4 and Flatter Grader etc... The volumes are easy enough with the various tools ...

Re: Survey mapfile based on point attributes

Thanks Sam, the file does work but it is not the way forward, it is too cumbersome and you have to relearn it in 12 months time to make a change. Nick I just noticed something in your mapfile 07 ELLOC 200207PA1130 151.81804260 91.26247582 23.05219491 <----- THIS IS YOUR POINT RECORD 72 Depth From Su...

Re: Survey mapfile based on point attributes

The basic tab can only work off string attributes, some of the other tabs can use both string and vertex. If you are processing SDR data there is an option that kinda, sorta, possibly and on occasions works to write the vertex attributes to the string. Anything with Att Key is string and the Vertex ...

For me - no super enquire (takes up too much room). I pick something from any option and no info panel appears. I get the diamond or square but no info panel.

Nothing to do with your Trimble writing roads issue, But here is the fix for Windows 10 and Windows Device Manager http://helpdesk.p1it.com.au/support/solutions/articles/24000009721-wmdc-windows-mobile-device-centre You can ignore the steps, they were just in-house testing, and just run the WMDC-Hel...

I would assume it is the deflection angle rather than the vertical angle that he is chasing, so measuring point to point vertical angle won't work

So by Materials you want the data I take it......

Do you have the folder C:|12d|11.00|Training on any computer in your office? This is where the training data that is installed with 12d is kept.

I wouldn't be copying and pasting in explorer. Although this is a new project so it is not likely to cause issue, you may find that if you did already have data in the project, the project id's are likely to get mixed up and you could completely screw your project. You could however, share the tins ...

Definitely could improve the info panel, but Sam wrote a macro some time ago for a customised info panel, which I adapted to suit my needs https://www.dropbox.com/s/7y5md7qpljgu7eb/info.jpg?dl=0 You can even flip it over to the attributes, and it will remain open. Even if you close it, it always com...
