12d Technical Forum Postponed to 1-3 Aug 2021 due to COVID-19

In the wake of the recent COVID-19 virus outbreak, the team behind the 12d Technical Forum has made the tough decision to postpone the event, to 1-3 August 2021.

In making this decision, we're committed to supporting the health and well-being of our staff, 12d users, and the wider community.

All other details remain the same. The event will still be held in Brisbane, Australia at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, and we’re keeping the wonderful Plaza Level.


What do I need to do?

For those who've already registered and paid for the 2020 event, we're keeping the 2020 rate for you if you transfer your registration straight to the 2021 event! If you'd like to take up this option, you don't need to do anything; we'll take care of it automatically for you.

If you'd prefer to receive a refund for now and re-register for 2021 at a later date, feel free to contact us and we'll process that for you as soon as we can (there may be some delays as we're not able to staff the office full-time at the moment).

Likewise, if you'd already booked your accommodation through OzAccom, we're currently liaising with them to transfer those bookings to 2021.


12d Innovation Awards

Please note the 2020 Innovation Awards will now be postponed to align with the new Technical Forum dates. Entries are already open for the 2021 Innovation Awards, with a closing date of 30th April 2021. All other details will remain the same, and if you were already working on your 2020 entry, we'd love to receive it whenever you're ready!

For those who've already entered, we'll transfer your entries to 2021 automatically, but feel free to send us any new information that might supplement your entry in the meantime! Remember, you can enter as many times as you like, so if you have a new innovation between now and April 2021, you can keep submitting entries!


We will keep you updated with any news on our website and via email leading up to our event next year...stay tuned for news of guest speakers, sponsors, and more as we get excited for 1-3 August 2021 in coming months!

Times are definitely tough for a lot of our users and their loved ones, but we are going to band together as a community and come out stronger than ever from this.
