Project needs to be migrated

One of my 12d v15 projects won't open. It says that it needs to migrate and won't open if you say no. What is this?

It is covered in section 2.3 Migrating a Project.

That comes up when you try to open old v14 job with v15
Due to Object tree it needs to be migrated.

Once it does that you should review the report file generated and the output window and if all is ok delete the _old back up folder as it is a duplicate copy the v14 version. If you are not in synergy and it is a network or local job move the copy somewhere safe.

Thanks for the info. It's still weird, both a v14 project and a v15 project did the same thing, neither going from one version to another. However we have just had a major change with our servers and all our projects were migrated so perhaps some had issues.
