Practice Version mapfile missing

I've been working my way through the 12d practice version getting started for surveyors. I'm trying to run the survey data reduction function but when I go to select the mapfile it can't be located. I set up the project in the correct file location according to the manual and I've also looked through all the files and can't find the referenced mapfile anywhere.

What is the filename and path of the file in question?

Hey Graeme.

The only mapfiles that were downloaded with the practice version were.

TRAINING.mapfile
C:\12d.Practise\9.00\Training\survey\getting started\user_lib

GETTING STARTED.mapfile
C:\12d.Practise\9.00\Training\survey\getting started basic

From the looks of the training maunual there should be a DETAIL SURVEY.mapfile in C:\12d.Practise\9.00\User_Lib

I think it depends on whether, when creating the project, the "Create working folder" box is ticked. I seem to remember the training course saying not to tick it, but it's ticked by default. Of course, once you do that, all the paths are off by one level and require Browsing.

It looks like the Getting Started data has been updated but the old practice version shipped data has not.
