Unable to Login or Reset my Password On the New Forum

Good Morning,

Over the Weekend, The 12d User Forums have had a face lift and major back-end upgrade.

This has massively increased the performance and security of the site.

However, this has caused some password issues to arise as the hashing of previous passwords did not migrate correctly.

If you cannot login with your regular password, you will need to reset your password.

To do this, first you must delete all COOKIES and CACHE from the site BEFORE you try and reset your password.

WARNING: Make sure you only clear the CACHE and COOKIES from forums.12dmodel.com, If you clear them from all sites, you will find all your logins are removed from every site on your browser.

This must be done from the browser, NOT FROM THE BUTTON at the bottom of the forum.

in Chrome:
1. Click the Padlock next to the URL in the Address Bar
2. Click Cookies

3. Select: Forums.12dmodel.Com
4. Click REMOVE

5. Reload the Forums then Reset your password.

in Firefox:

1. Click the Padlock next to the URL in the Address Bar
2. Click Clear Cookies and site Data

3. click REMOVE

For other browsers, PLEASE use google to find out how to clear both CACHE and COOKIES for a particular site.

I found the button at the bottom of this forum to work pretty well

Sam,

That button may not delete OLD PHPBB cookies since it may not know about them.
