Has anyone had success importing DWG/AutoCad Civil3D pipe networks into 12d without issue?
I'm trying to do some clash detection between a utilities network I have designed in 12d with a pipe network done in C3D.
The Pipe network has rodding eyes that effectively shoot to the centre of the earth, and not all of the pipes are coming through from the C3D network
Its is exported from C3D using the 12d converter add on, as importing it as a DWG didn't work, and the XML export literally had nothing to bring in according to 12d.
Any Help or suggestions appreciated,
Cheers!

Hi Richard.
Have you checked this post:

IFC from C3D worked in that instance. All objects came in as trimesh data. Check your header in the IFC file to see how it compares to the code in the above post.
