Daylighting a Line

Hi,

How do i daylight a string at a certain elevation to meet an existing grade at a specified slope. I'm thinking of creating an alignment string and a profile then attaching a template.

Is it possible to just use a line set at an elevation, then just pick this line and make it meet the a certain surface at a specified slope/grade?

Also, how do i create a line string by specifying the elevation of an end point and then just specifiying the longitudinal slope so that it would readily calculate the elevation of the other end point based on the slope.

An Alignment string would be your best option to use.

Then 'Design' 'Apply' 'Interface' should do what you want, no template req'd.
