Visualisation Fail

Before I start clipping back the processed data I just wanted to see if the following has occured for anyone else. The visualisaion looks fine, then as soon as i try to drive along a string the view loops out... I'm running very powerful machines, but I'm guessing still not enough.
Any thoughts before i start filtering the points?

Yes have had it do that, actually mine looked worse.
I hink it may have been the env variable

 OPENGL_VIEW_BACKING_STORE_4D 		0

or need newer video drivers.
(me Windows XP 64bit)
