Stormwater calculation tables

Post by Mark Proctor »

I want to output the stormwater calculations table for submission to Council for approval. I am using the QUDM stormwater calculations design sheet. When I open the file in a text editor the columns are misaligned. I can fix it manually but it is a painful process.

Any ideas how to output the data in a more useable format ?

the columns are deliminated with something. usually a tab (but could also be a ,.| etc)

Im guessing that you have opened a TEXT file in some word processing app?

Open with a (good) text editor - notepad is a minimum. Excel should be fine too.

The report is tab-delimited. You don't really need to fuss with the report file at all, as the report is also written to the Windows Clipboard.

So, you can simply paste (Ctrl-V) the report straight into Excel after you run the DNE: import/Export panel.
