Thanks but I get an error of "You are not authorised to read this forum" Is there a permissions I need to get from the administrators for access to certain parts of the forum? (I've contacted admin so hopefully can get access)

Group Vertex Attributes
Hi brains trust,
Surely there's an easy way to do this but for the life of me cant find it. I am looking for a way to batch move existing vertex attributes into a new sub group and yet to find a workable solution?
Once again any tips would be appreciated. Thanks

Enjoying the conversation, thanks all. I'm using the symbol part of the map file/attributes for ELLOC for other reasons and that's working fine. Point coding was me just playing around with the map files trying things out. Was just messing with every setting to see what if anything changes. Confirme...

Thanks Phil, been playing a bit more and have the string attribute working how I want but it's just the challenge of making it all seamless, was thinking chains would be the way to go.
