what kind of string do you need to use?

i had a go because it sounds quite useful, but i used a super string and it came up with a bunch of errors about the string type then shutdown 12d

if you want the pond to have a specific depth you could use the interface function

design -> apply -> interface

and create a tin at a depth to interface down to.

its pretty much how i designed a cleanfill in kaipara. except upsidedown

Ok to find the areas use
Tins -> Tin Analysis -> Depth range polygons
then
User -> Miscellaneous -> A to C -> Calculate areas of coloured polygons

also can i report on just some of the depth range polygons or parts of the - ie within a boundary polygon of sorts?

why are some of the areas that the report file outputs negative

eg

How can i work out areas for Cut to Fill?

Also is it possible to work out a volume for a polygon within the design area other than doing a volume by grid?
