Re: Create ID for polygons
Alternatively, if you polygons are not parallel to an alignment and you have already created them, but just want to give them unique names so your report can identify which polygon you are referring to, you can just use the option Set New String Names (which I don't know where it is in the menus, bu...

Re: Multi page plot with keyplan
Hi Michael, The Special Chapter Plot Frame is using the old plotframes. You will have created them by the using the Plot frames along a string option. There are macros floating around - we have one and I know of a couple of others, but they are typically setup to the way we use the MPSing. What we n...

Re: Multi page plot with keyplan
The short answer is no to a key plan using the old plotframes. The long answer is you can export them to a dxf, read them back in, they will now be just super strings, use the centroid option to find the middle of them, add your MSP frames to the centre of them and manually rotate each one..... Hopi...
Re: Trim Tin
What about if you get the las file instead of the tin and import as a point cloud. Then use the option BIM | Point Cloud | Point Cloud Mesh Thinning

Re: Convert Super Alignment to Super String - Null Points
I am pretty sure you don't need the Null to Height step, I thought you could just type in null as your maximum Z value and it would find it.

Re: Reading a CSV file Macro
I know that you are on the basics of this macro, but once you get that worked out..... When writing macros from files, any files, the easiest thing to do is to simply read the line and then print the line. If you can do that (you can already do that) read the line split it into tokens and print each...

Re: Delete specific attribute tree from model
Have you tried the attribute manipulator?
Set the Attribute to Modify
Rule type Vertex Attribute
Index 0
Attribute Name EXPORT/*
Not sure it works in a PIT situation, but can't see why it wouldn't

Re: KR LS PLOTTING
Wouldn't you do this as an MPS? That would give you the flexibility to have different bits and bobs in the same plot while maintaining the drawing number or changing the drawing number or doing basically whatever you want. MPS doesn't allow you to plot to a model, so you would need to get them setup...

Re: 12d compatibility with Trimble Business Centre
Not sure of the end game here, but the best way to do it from a survey perspective creating Machine Control models... Alignments - 12da (only format that give geometry) Design Strings - dxf (don't use 12da it segments every string and you end of with thousands) Tins - ttm (I find this more reliable ...

Re: v14 cad string attribute leaders
Hi Adam, In this example Command "drafting Leader_Vertex_Attributes -style \"Label ATTS\" -text_format \"Owner: <[Owner]>\n[Configuration]>\n<[Size]>mm\"" -style \"Label ATTS\" sets the label style that you are going to use. You can set your styles up under Ca...
