How do you unlock strings?

I have strings that say that they are locked by another process. I have closed everything off, tried restarting the project but still says they are locked. It is a super alignment string, so I am unable to recalc the associated MTF file as the road strings are also locked. Is there a way to unlock these strings? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Gavin,

If it is a SA string (or a Super string in Edit mode) there will be a toolbar on the screen denoting which SA is being edited. Save and finish this toolbar and it will unlock the string.

You should still be able to recalc an MTF/AM, even while editing the control/reference Super Alignment.

Apologies if this is a dumb question, but you're not trying to edit/recalc strings that have been shared in from another 12d project are you? Shared-in data is always read-only, and often reports as locked.
