Brand new member so please excuse any wrong terminology (or misplaced CAD terminology!)
I am trying to show the horizontal tangent points on a plan view of the road centreline in Autocad but 12d seems to spit out strings with multiple vertices even when it is exported as 2d info.
Is there a command to show a symbol at tangent points I can export with the road centreline?
Cheers in advance
Ryan

you can assign a super alignment style to it and the tangect points should be highlighted with a symbol.
most of the standard styles will show the ticks / symbols on the line.
set this in the Super Alignment toolbar (hit F6 to edit string)
on the "properties" icon, there will be a label section.
pick style in there, set a chainage interval and apply.
you should see the info you need.
ps. as for autocad displaying spirals as segmented polylines, this is an autocad issue. it cannot generate a true spiral and therefore creates a best fit polyline.

Sorry,
If you permanently delete models then it does exactly what the option say - it permanently deletes the models.
