Creating Pile in Perspective

I was wondering what is the most efficient way to create a 3d Pile in perspective view.
Is it to create a pipe string with the diameter of the pile ?

Yes, Using a super string - Pipe, is a quick and easy way to do it.

Depending what else you are doing, creating a strings, or Trimesh (or Triangulation) may be needed.
