Hi does anyone know how to translate a tin to have a consistent depth through out a slope. I have a mountain design that have a slope of 1 in 3 on both sides and want to add a 300mm top soil. When I used translate tin function it gives less than 300mm depth on the slope sides. How do I solve this?
thank you in advance
translate tin to give consistent depth on the slope
I don't think there is such tool, irregular shapes are difficult
you could convert TIN to Strings
(tins-utilities menu)
and translate those by 350ish mm to get your 300mm depth
or you could use the settlement option
design->more->settlement
and calculate a grid of point by hand and the macro will approximate the rest
