How can I measure the Vertical Angle between 3D strings?
I have some complicated vertical pipe configurations that we've reduced to 3D strings in 12D.. this means I have the straights only.
Anyone?

plot a long section and use the normal measure angle option

There's a Measure Value icon from the Measure Edits toolbar, click on this, then walk right from 'String to point' and there's a vertical angle angle option.

Point to point rather than string to point maybe a better option in hindsight....

I would assume it is the deflection angle rather than the vertical angle that he is chasing, so measuring point to point vertical angle won't work

Unfortunately everytime I make an assumption I seem to get it wrong
So I have to keep asking questions.
