SHARED TINS NOT THE SAME COLOUR

I have created a project and shared a bunch of tins representing different strata for a quarry design but when I add them to my design project some of the tins do not retain the colour assigned to them in the strata project. They seem to be defaulting to white. I don't seem to have those colours available in my design project - anyone come across this before? I have to export 3d pdfs for geotech engineers and multiple tins with the same colour is very confusing.

What version and build of 12d Model are you using (11.0C1q, 12.0C1p)?

Do you have a colours.4d file in the working folder of the design project?

Are you using a share mapping file?
Project =>Management =>Sharing =>Sharing map files
