Average depth between two tins

Is it possible to report the average depth between two tins?

If you calculate the volume between each tin and a height of zero (say), within a common area, the difference in volume, divided by the common area, will give you the average depth.

Thanks Owen. That is what I have been doing, just wanted to make sure I didnt have the option to automate it.

Doh ... of course, just the exact volume between the tins, within a common area, divided by the area, gives the average depth.

A simple macro could automate it, but not sure of another way.
