Hi ,
Hope anyone can assist me. Having issues when working remotely. I used to output my 12d models with no issues. But now there message pop up 'file access error'. Weird thing I can output it to my work network drive with no drama. Before I can do it to my C-drive or network at work.
But not more to my C-drive project. Any help??
thanks,

Re: RE: File access error - 12d output
What do you mean "output my 12d models"? Do you mean export to a 12da/12daz file from within 12d Model? Copy models from another project? Or actually copying and pasting the .model files in your .project folder?
My first check in either case when getting a "File access error" would be for read-only flag. Is that "File access error" being received for the source or the destination? You should also try writing/copying to a different location in case it's permissions, e.g. My Documents.

Re: RE: File access error - 12d output
Hi Matthew,
Thanks for getting back, I meant when export it to cad, not to 12da/12daz. I've tried different locations but still error.
File access error" is the destination.
thanks

Hi Matthew,
I think it's the permission, thanks for that. I managed to use different locations this time, it's works.
thanks
