Hi
I need to show the design contours up to shoulder and tadpole for the batter extent. How can I trim the design tin only up to shoulder extent .??Generally tin models include sections and strings for the super alignment.

simplest way is to use "Utilities > A-G > Change, filter select the strings for the road and copy to a new model, triangulate that.
or
you could create a closed polygon using the edge of shoulder strings and "Null by Polygon"
or
using "Utilities > A-G > Delete, filter and delete strings by name. the ones outside the shoulder.
or
use Model > String Info Table. select the road string model, sort the list by name and delete strings using the delete string button. once you select a string, you can keep pressing the delete button until all the string codes you don't want are gone. see pic attached.
there are likely several other methods, these are the ones i thought of.
