Special chainages file

Post by Jeff Spark »

Hi I'm wanting to plot cross section at the boundaries.
I have created special chainages file of lot boundaries.
I'm trying to use it to filter the cross sections under the apply template function - filter tab.
I have specified a filtered sections model "Summerhill Rd sect filtered" but it doesnt plot the sections using the chainages file.
The output window shows this for each chainage
Section_X_Filter: special chainage file section at ch = 159.330 not found in model "Summerhill Rd sect"
But this is the normal sections model?
Thanks
Hope this is clear enough

If the sections don't exist in the model your trying to plot, the filter will not be able to find them.
How are you creating your sections? Apply many or xsections along a string etc...

You can use the same special chainage file in your apply many, so that sections are created at those locations and therefore can be plotted.
