see menu Strings=>Grids
or
File => data input => point clouds
and I think you can grid lidar on the fly while importing...
grid strings and grid tins produce better results

Hi,
Is there a way of filtering the point cloud by height above and below a tin?
I am trying to filter out overhanging branches and power-lines out of my data set.
I have tried the function:
Delete Points; Point Cloud Delete Points by Tin
But it seems to delete the entire tin surface regardless the
"distance above tin (+ve)" and "distance below tin (-ve)" values.
or is there an easy way of deleting the unwanted triangles without leaving too many black holes once i have generated the grid tin of the point cloud?
